30歳を目前に私は京都府の北部から南部の高校に転勤しました。結婚して生活も大きく変わり、また転勤で職場も変わったことで、落ち着かない日々でした。通勤時に、京都府南部の国道沿いには、様々な工場が見えました。私は、それらの壁や煙突に独特の色彩や質感を感じ、絵画として表現したいと思いました。

Near the age of 30, I was transferred from a high school in the northern part of Kyoto prefecture to a high school in the southern part. My life changed drastically after getting married, and my workplace changed due to my transfer, so it was a restless day. When I was commuting, I saw various factories along the national highway in the southern part of Kyoto Prefecture. I felt the unique colors and textures of those walls and chimneys and wanted to express them as paintings.
